Safety Guidelines & Protocols due to COVID-19

Outlined below are changes to the gym that have been made according to the safety guidelines and protocols.

  1.  The total number of children has been limited to 50% capacity.

  2. The groups will be limited to 8 students and 1 teacher depending on program ratio. The groups will not interchange or mingle with other groups.

  3. Everyone over the age of 2 must be wearing a mask when entering and exiting the building.  All spectators (over 2 years of age) must keep their mask on at all times.  All students will wear masks entering and exiting the building but will be able to take their mask off during class except for when transitioning between events.
  4. Each waiting area has been clearly marked with x’s to make sure we are complying with the “social distancing rules”.  Your child's teacher will come to your waiting area to get your child for class and bring them back once class is finished.  Parents do not need to stay in the waiting area.  Once class begins feel free to watch class from the balcony.

  5. Each area inside the building has been clearly marked with x’s to comply with social distancing.

  6. If your child is not feeling well for ANY reason, please do not bring them to class.

  7. If your child does not feel well during class and you are not here, we will be calling you to come pick them up.

  8. We are asking that you limit the number of people coming to class at one adult per student.  This is to limit the amount of people in the balcony area.  The only exception to this rule is for the Bouncing Babies age group - you may bring two adults per student.

  9. There is one way traffic in the building.  You will be coming in the front door as usual but exiting through the gym side door.  It's all labeled for your convenience.

  10. We have designated staff that will be cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, equipment, toys, etc, throughout the day.

  11. Our vending machines and water bubbler are currently not in use.  Please remember to bring a water bottle for your child if needed.

If you have any questions regarding any of this information, please let me know.  I have tried to include as much information as possible to inform you of the CDC requirements.  If I have forgotten anything, I will be sending out an addendum as it’s important to keep everyone up to date.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you!
